Members

Invite users, manage roles, and track who's joined.

The Members page is where you invite people, manage their roles, and see the current state of your workspace.

Inviting one person

Click Invite member at the top right. Enter:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • RoleMember or Admin. Owners can also assign Owner.

Click Send invitation. The recipient gets an email with an acceptance link valid for 7 days.

Bulk invitations

For larger imports, click Upload CSV. The CSV must include these columns:

  • fullName
  • email
  • department
  • position
  • role
  • employeeId
  • reportsTo

Uploaded users appear with Not joined status — they're in your directory but haven't been emailed yet. You can invite them in bulk from the list or one at a time.

Changing someone's role

Click Edit on a member row to open the role dialog.

  • Owners can assign Owner, Admin, or Member.
  • Admins can assign Admin or Member (not Owner).

Role changes apply immediately. The member sees the new permissions on their next page load.

Status indicators

  • Onboarded — Active member.
  • Invited — Invitation sent; the user hasn't accepted yet. You can resend the invitation.
  • Not joined — Came in via CSV import; no invitation sent. Send one with the action button on their row.

Removing a member

To remove a member, contact MainBranch support. Self-service removal is not currently exposed in the UI — removals are deliberately gated to prevent accidental data loss.

Audit

Every invite, role change, and removal is logged in the audit log.
