Data Controls
Archived chats, account deletion, and what happens to your data.
The Data Controls tab gives you self-service control over your stored data.
Archived chats
When you archive a chat from the sidebar, it disappears from your main list but is preserved. From Profile settings → Data controls you can:
- See every archived chat.
- Restore individual chats to your main list.
- Archive all chats at once (useful if you want a clean slate).
- Delete archived chats permanently.
Sessions
You can review active sessions and end any that you don't recognize. Ending a session signs that device out immediately.
Privacy
Privacy settings related to data sharing and consent live here. Specifics depend on your workspace configuration.
Deleting your account
You can request account deletion from this tab. What gets deleted:
- Your profile information.
- Your chat history.
- Your personal Vault files (files you own).
- Your meetings and recordings.
- Your integration connections (tokens are revoked).
Files you shared with others may remain visible to those people depending on workspace policy. Audit log entries about your activity are retained as required by your organization's compliance setup.
Account deletion is permanent. If you're an admin or owner of your workspace, you may need to transfer ownership before deleting your account.
Exporting your data
For exporting a copy of your data before deletion, contact your workspace admin — workspace-wide data exports are managed from Workspace → Data Export.
