Uploading Files
Drag-and-drop, supported types, and size limits.
How to upload
There are three ways to add a file to the Vault:
- Click the Upload button at the top of the Vault.
- Drag and drop files from your desktop into the file list.
- From inside a folder, both options upload to that folder. From the Vault root, files land at the top level.
You can select multiple files at once. Each upload shows a progress indicator. When a file finishes, it appears in the list with a completed status.

What happens after upload
- The file is stored securely in your workspace.
- It becomes searchable from global search.
- The assistant can reference it in chat conversations.
- It's available as a source for Presentations and other tools.
Notes on processing
- Some files (especially large PDFs and Office docs) need a moment to be processed before they're fully searchable. They'll appear in the list right away but the completed status indicates indexing is done.
- The Vault never modifies your original files — the uploaded copy is exactly what you sent.
